About

Shaikh Mahfuz Aalam is an architect and academic with a strong background in environmental science and disaster management. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture from Khulna University and later earned an MSc in Environmental Science and Disaster Management. With years of experience in professional architectural practice, he is also a dedicated faculty member at the Architecture Department of Premier University. His expertise spans urban issues, interactive space and placemaking, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and visualization, spatio-temporal changes, and the impact of environmental factors on urban settlements. Through both teaching and practice, he contributes to shaping the next generation of architects through teaching and mentorship.
