Ms. Kuheli Chowdhury

Assistant Professor, Architecture

Premier University, Chittagong

kuheli.chowdhury@puc.ac.bd;

About

I am an architect and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, at Premier University. My research focuses on urban historic settlements, challenges, and opportunities of the present urban fabric in the Chittagong context. My current research concentrates on how rural communities are affected by the growth of renewable energy (both positively and negatively), how rural landowners respond differently to wind and solar projects, and how state and local policies help or impede the deployment of renewable energy.

My dual role as both an architect and educator position me uniquely to influence the future of urban design, fostering a deep understanding of the interplay between architecture and the vibrant tapestry of urban life. My commitment to this field inspires those around me to envision and create a better, more sustainable urban future.
